ScheduleCom and its online version ScheduleCom OnDemand, is a voice based schedule publishing and retrieval system designed to accelerate the process of communicating schedule information to employees in dynamic work environments such as Trucking and Ready Mix operations. It is a simple-to-use, stand-alone, browser-based application that makes it easy to extend administration of messages to dispatch offices, remote employees, or home offices. Using only a web browser, your dispatch personnel can quickly compose and publish a schedule of employees, locations, vehicles, and start times. Once the schedule is published, an employee is able to call into the system from any phone to hear their schedule as well as any employee announcements.

ScheduleCom OnDemand allows users to pay a monthly fee for use of the ScheduleCom software, a hosted toll-free telephone number, and a web portal. With ScheduleCom OnDemand there are no phone, infrastructure, or up front costs that may prevent an organization from using a work schedule retrieval program. Employees can easily access their schedules by either calling in on your toll-free number or through your company’s ScheduleCom web portal. Both systems are secure, require unique user passcodes, and provide you delivery confirmation once a driver or other employee has acknowledged receipt of their schedule.

Recent enhancements to ScheduleCom include integration with time and attendance systems. By integrating with time and attendance systems, ScheduleCom can provide actual clock-hours to the scheduler, helping them avoid overtime situations when selecting employees for the next work day.

Command Alkon has combined internally developed Web services with modern Web development tools to provide an E-commerce solution. This solution, COMMANDcommerce, extends the value of the COMMANDseries and Apex applications by providing access to COMMANDseries and Apex data via the Web. Data can be accessed internally by your staff as well as externally by your customers. COMMANDcommerce allows your customers to view their project, order, and delivery information in a secure Web environment and to control the user rights and privileges for their own staff.

Integrated with the OnBase ECM Tickets & Invoices solution, users can retrieve images of delivery tickets, invoices, and statements via the Web. Your clients receive a User ID and Password to ensure security. Real-time delivery information is available to your customers that want to monitor order progress from their office or on a hand-held device at the job site. This technology provides your clients with better management and greater understanding of their daily business cycles. Daily delivery reports and a listing of orders placed for the next day can be e-mailed to your customer every evening.

Your customers can examine current account balances and make sure payments have been applied properly without having to call your AR Department. The Web tool also allows you to post information on a daily basis that could be of benefit to your customers and staff.

Future plans include expanding the COMMANDcommerce solution to allow end-users to apply on-line for credit, submit requests for quotations and material deliveries as well as make payments online.
