The Apex Rail Module lets you organize and store information about rail car deliveries and easily produce Bills of Lading for your rail care operators. Bills of Lading include customers, products, pricing, and orders for rail cars and trains. The system has the ability to read rail car tags via SmartPass reader or a track reader (T94) and can interface with a third-party loading system.
The Rail Tracks program is used to assign a number and a description to each track in your plant. A Rail Equipment Master file is maintained and updated for each rail car arriving on site or it can be imported from the Official Railway Equipment Register. The Rail Schedule program captures rail orders by location, load date, and train number. The Rail Car Assignment program allows you to assign rail cars from scheduled items, or manually without scheduling.
